Pet & Animal Lover
Elizabeth Nimni is a proud supporter of Lovebugs Rescue, a unique organization that helps give pets a second chance at life and a happy home. A huge animal lover, Nimni has supported this organization for years as a volunteer and contributor. She also welcomed home her two adorable schnauzer mixes from Lovebugs Rescue! Nimni is a firm believer in facilitating alternatives to unnecessary animal euthanization. Lovebugs is proactive in its approach to this effort; the organization facilitates numerous educational programs that emphasize the value in adopting and fostering animals in search of their forever homes.
Outside of her support of Venice Family Clinic Art Walk & Auction and Lovebugs Rescue, Elizabeth Nimni is also a proud supporter of Homeboy Industries. Homeboy aims to offer former gang members a second chance at life through rehabilitation and education. Deeply seeded in an approach of compassion and love, the initiative strongly believes that anyone can turn their life around for the better. Nimni is a firm believer in this notion and is proud to contribute to the positive impact that this initiative has on individuals and society overall.
Elizabeth Nimni has recently become interested in the process of preserving butterflies. She has always found cased butterflies to be incredibly fascinating. But it wasn’t until very recently that she decided to try her hand at the project herself. No stranger to articulate and precise art projects, Nimni enjoys both needlepoint and sewing. She hopes to weave these prior experiences into her latest effort of preserving the majestic beauty of butterflies and other insects.
